Copper peptides and vitamin C
Jason says: Copper peptides (a.k.a. copper tripeptide-1) are found in many anti-aging products such as moisturizers and serums. This ingredient has many biological actions with major beauty benefits: activation of wound healing, attraction of immune cells, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, stimulation of collagen, and so on. Vitamin C, found in anti-aging products because of its brightening effects, shouldn’t be used with copper peptides, since it counteracts all of these excellent benefits.
